Amelia Hirota, Doctor of Acupuncture

acupuncture doctors Amelia Hirota is an acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in the integrative treatment of infertility, Women's Health, and thyroid disorders. Her passion revolves around empowering women to be informed about their health options and inspiring them to take charge of their health and the health of their families.

She enjoys working with women that are trying to conceive because if she can plant the seed of awareness early, women can go on to have he natural conceptions and healthy pregnancies. Also, when experiencing the power of a well thought out preconception plan, women become more attuned mothers that pay attention to all aspects of their child's health.

Women's Health is another area where she's passionate. More practitioners in integrative health need to focus on young, adolescent women. When Amelia treats menopausal women, she's usually able to track the start of the problems to either early adolescence or pregnancy. Amelia believes that if young women are informed about their body at puberty, then problems can more readily be avoided with pregnancy and menopause will more likely be easier.
